Web UI Kit
In an effort to meet the business needs of TEGNA's local news stations I was responsible for the design of the new website templates to be used across all 64 TEGNA owned local news stations. View the TEGNA Local News Station designs »
As part of this project I created a web UI kit. The new UI kit subtly incorporated the T18 brand that is used across all of TEGNA's broadcasts.
MAIN NAVIGATION
Since the TEGNA local news sites are not responsive I designed a navigation system for the two different sites. The desktop version is designed to fles bases on the user's screen size. The logo and 5 main links are fixed to the left and the search icon, location, and weather info are fixed to the right. The sub navigation is center aligned. There is also a preview of the 24 hour stream.

SECONDARY NAVIGATION
Desktop Dropdown Menu
When a user hovers on a main navigation link mega drop down menu is displayed with sub-links and featured news stories. These sub-links are programmable on station by station basis.
Mobile Drawer Menu
The mobile version contains the same content as desktop with added search functionality.
